Tax Manager - Insurance
London
Up to £75,000
I'm currently working on behalf of a globally leading Reinsurer. My client is looking for a UK Tax Manager to take ownership of the all UK Tax compliance and reporting matters for five UK entities including M&A and project work.
Key responsibilities will include:
* Acting as the lead contact with HMRC and the Group's Tax departments
* Liaising with the UK Tax advisor to prepare the Corporation Tax Returns and to coordinate the filling for the Tax Group
* Managing all VAT matters for the UK Tax group entities, including the VAT compilations and calculation of VAT data on a quarterly basis.
* Supporting the Group on M&A projects
* Managing the tax compliance process of the Tax Group
Essential knowledge and experience
* Strong UK GAAP/IFRS reporting knowledge
* Qualified - CTA
* UK VAT experience, ideally in the insurance industry
* Comfortable communicating with HMRC and other international tax authorities
* London market experience preferred
* Highly motivated
* Strong attention to detail
