If so, we'd love to hear from you. We have been appointed on an exclusive basis to recruit for a growing business who manufacture a growing portfolio of tech products. Working from offices close to MediaCity UK, my client is growing both organically and acquisitively. Their continued success has resulted in an exciting new opportunity within their finance team for a Commercial Finance Manager. Initially on a 6 month contract basis, it is hoped the successful candidate will develop the role and become a permanent member of the Senior Management Team. The remit will be more than just P&L reporting as the successful candidate will also be responsible for detailed margin analysis, stock forecasting, WIP and new product appraisal. Therefore, any candidates who have previously worked in manufacturing will be of particular interest.
Reporting to a commercially experienced Finance Director, with a great track record of development and succession planning, the successful candidate will be well looked after. With a broad remit you will interface with other functions, as well as get involved with many improvement projects. As Finance Manager, you will produce the monthly management accounts pack inclusive of P&L and Balance sheet, for 2 businesses and work closely with the FD to develop and improve commercial reporting & analysis. You will also supervise 2 very capable Ledger Clerks. Applications will be considered from all candidates with the appropriate practical experience, regardless of qualification status.
