Description

The main responsibilities of this brilliant Finance Manager role based in North Manchester will be:

• Managing a team of 2 up and coming, talented finance staff
• Devising weekly P&L forecasts
• Working in sync with senior stakeholders from inside and outside of finance
• Taking full ownership of the month end management accounts and annual statutory accounts under IFRS
• Working to provide insightful analysis and understand what the story behind the numbers is
• Variance analysis and daily cash flow
• Striving for process improvements and streamlining
• Building strong working relationships to add value and drive the business forwards
• Use your technical and interpersonal skills to become a face of finance for the wider team

Profile

The successful candidate for this Finance Manager role based just North of Manchester will be:

• A newly qualified ACA/ACCA/CIMA accountant
• An outgoing, personable individual who wants to be part of a sociable, dynamic team
• A technically strong accountant
• An astute, commercially minded accountant able to think in a logical manner
• A strong excel user
• A natural people person and an excellent communicator - able to challenge the business in an effective, yet diplomatic manner
• Confident in dealing with senior members of the management team
• A personality able to lead and motivate a small team - even if you do not have leadership experience as of yet, you will be able to show the qualities required in this remit
• A flexible individual - happy to travel ad hoc to other sites

Job Offer

The successful candidate for this Finance Manager role will receive a salary of £35,000 - £40,000 + an unrivalled employee benefits package.
