Our client is a small practice firm looking for an experienced ACA candidate to join the business as Senior Accountant with fast track progression to leader in the business. This is a unique opportunity for an accountant looking to join a local practice and become part of the brand in a well-respected firm.
With a team of experience accountants, the firm provide their strong and loyal client base a whole range of services such as bookkeeping, payroll, management accounts to tax advisory services as well as ad-hoc specialist projects when required. The firm have a proven track record for success, and can manage and advise clients with confidence on any accounting query a small to medium size business would have on a day to day basis.
As a senior accountant/ client manager and under the guidance of existing senior management, they are looking for a candidate with the capability of taking up the responsibility of practice lead position within 18 months.
While it is crucial you have credible and relevant technical experience for the position, as a leader in waiting you will be expected to manage a small and close knit team, build relationships within the practice and take on ownership of existing client relationships, building on them and developing them further. If you have dealt with Ltd companies, partnerships, sole traders and more and are looking for an opportunity to be a business leader in a small firm than this is the opportunity for you.
To put it simply to qualify, candidates must be ACA qualified, with a number of years' experience client facing, be able to build relationships and must have a range of accounting experience to the level of overseeing and signing off junior teams members work.
