Finance Analyst

Our client, an innovative, high-growth employer of choice, with a reputation for retaining and rewarding top talent, is looking to source a recently qualified, top calibre Finance Analyst. This is a key role in a dynamic organisation, which continues to expand its footprint across the UK and Europe.

You will work with a variety of stakeholders across many different levels and get the opportunity to be part of major decision making, providing creative input that affect all across multiple projects. You will also be instrumental in driving improved reporting, so candidates will ideally have a proven track record in implementing better ways of working and more efficient processes.

Main duties include:
* Providing financial insight, support and challenge by building effective working relationships at all levels including Senior Managers
* Produce period management accounts, analysis and commentary and presenting to Head of Finance and senior management team
* Business partnering to ensure efficient and accurate responses to analysis
* Supporting periodic finance reviews
* Maintaining and enhancing financial controls of business area
* Leading budgeting and forecasting process, understanding key drivers for revenue and costs


Key skills & experience required:
* CIMA/ACCA/ACA Finalist/Newly Qualified
* 2:1 degree from a well-regarded institution
* Experience of process improvements and stakeholder management
* Advanced Excel skills
* Candidates must have excellent communication as the role requires interaction across all functions of the business, both financial and non-financial
* Candidates must be logical, self-motivated, proactive, have an eye for detail, confident to challenge business partners and comfortable operating within an environment of substantial change
* Candidates must be personable, open, fun, flexible and hard working with the ability to be strong in their dealings with others. You will need to be able to challenge assumptions behind forecasts and budgets
