We are looking to recruit a Junior Finance Analyst who will work closely with colleagues across the directorate and our Finance Planning and Reporting and Financial Control teams. You'll play a key role in delivering the financial analysis, support and insight that directorates require in order to deliver on their objectives.
You will support the Senior Finance Analyst (SFA) and Finance Analysts, providing support and advice whilst developing a successful and effective relationships with staff in order to provide accurate and fit for purpose analysis.
About you
The successful candidate will have basic knowledge of finance systems, month end processes, management accounting/reporting, budgeting, and forecasting and analysis as well as experience of working within a deadline focused finance team. You'll have strong analytical skills and be very proficient with MS Excel including knowledge of vlookups, pivot tables and sumif’s.
With strong communication and team building skills you'll have the ability to interact confidently with colleagues across all levels of the organisation and be able to build strong working relationships with key contacts and be customer focused.
