Head of UK Finance

Salary £45kpa to £50kpa

We are looking for an experienced, highly motivated and enthusiastic Head of Finance to join our small UK based finance team.

The Head of Finance will be responsible for:

  • All aspects of accounts preparation up to trial balance.
  • reviewing bank and other key reconciliations
  • preparing quarterly VAT returns
  • line management of the UK finance team

Reporting directly to and working closely with the Global Director of Finance, you will have:

  • extensive relevant experience
  • you may also have a formal qualification, but this is not essential as previous on the job experience is needed for this role
  • excellent technical accounting knowledge
  • strong verbal, written and analytical skills
  • experience in preparing and presenting financial information for management
  • line management experience
  • the ability to communicate effectively with non-financial managers
  • excellent Excel skills

In addition, a working knowledge of SUN accounts would be desirable.
