Our client is a leading international business based in Plymouth with offices throughout the UK, USA and Europe. They are now seeking to appoint a new Head of Finance to help lead them through an exciting period of development. Reporting direct to the CEO, you will be responsible for the whole finance function and business operations for the company. You must be a fully qualified accountant: ACCA, CIMA or ACA with proven leadership experience gained within a medium to large organisation. There is an excellent salary (£45-50,000+ depending on relevant experience). Additional benefits include: flexible start and finish, with a standard 37 hour week. Duties and responsibilities to include:
- Preparation of monthly Management Information
- Production of all financial reports for Board and Heads of Department
- Support American and European subsidiaries with Group reporting
- Full responsibility for the accounting function: including revenue recognition, production of accruals, Capex and balance sheet reconciliations
- Management of Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable and Procurement teams
- Management and forecasting of company cash-flow
- Identifying and reporting of all tax compliance requirements
- Lead and participate in the annual external and internal audits
- Manage all cross functional accountabilities
- Support monthly payroll
