Investigo are working exclusively with ActiveOps, a rapidly expanding provider of Digital Operations solutions to financial services, Insurance, BPOs, government, healthcare and other service industries globally. ActiveOps are now looking to expand their dynamic and hardworking finance team with a Finance System Manager who will be responsible for managing the newly implemented Microsoft Dynamics platform.

The Opportunity for the Finance Systems Manager:

The Finance Systems Manager will be pivotal in managing the new Microsoft Dynamics platform globally through ongoing operational support of the business. More broadly, this role will support the group's accounting and finance team with additional tasks around Financial reporting and administration.

 Reporting into the Group Financial Controller, the Finance Systems Manager will be working closely with the ActiveOps Finance and other teams to deliver the following;

• Creating and maintaining standard and ad-hoc reporting to meet business reporting needs for management and statutory accounts across the group.
• Working with other areas of the business to develop management reports that integrate both financial and non-financial data to improve the visibility and presentation of results and automate report preparation
• Maintenance of charts of account
• Support users of the MS Dynamics systems with answers to ad-hoc requests and be the ongoing main point of contact for outside consultants in resolving issues and suggesting improvements to systems.

the Finance Systems Manager will also be responsible for the contribution of the Management Accounts preparation for the Group on a monthly basis, accurately & on time, ensuring the integrity and availability of all data sourced from the core finance systems. This may include the following;

• Prepare the monthly accrued and deferred revenue statements for SaaS and Implementation revenue ensuring that revenue recognition is in accordance with the client contract and revenue recognition policies.
• Prepare customer billings in line with contracts
• Work with the Delivery teams in each region to ensure delivery costs and revenue recognition is accurately reported in the system and in line with Group Accounting policy.
• Ensure Budgets and forecasts are uploaded into Dynamics and available to report against
• Work effectively with the Group Financial Controller on ad hoc projects as required to help understand business performance and subsequently drive improved performance through identifying incremental value
• Always look to improve processes, reporting and forecasting and aspire to deliver best in class support to the business by identifying business opportunities that further improve performance.

Requirements needed of the Finance Systems Manager:

• Experience as a Systems Accountant, preferably in a Microsoft Dynamics environment
• Qualified Accountant (ACA, ACMA, ACCA or equivalent) Finalists with good ERP systems experience will also be considered.
• Proficient with MS tools including Sharepoint and Power BI
• Advanced Excel
• Clear presentation of potentially complex data
