Finance Manager (retail)

Recently qualified Finance Manager for a retail business based in West London


I am recruiting an exciting Finance Manager job for a retail business based in West London. This role will be reporting into a Finance Director and take responsibility across the the day to day management of the small finance team. This role is suited to a recently qualified ACA / CIMA / ACCA who is commercially minded, driven and interested in retail.

As a qualified Finance Manager you will be responsible for

• Preparing suite of internal & external weekly reports for the trading meeting, and developing as required
• Developing a suite of reports and tools that enable effective planning & forecasting of: stock availability, stock intake and stock payments
• Analysing weekly promotions and margin impact
• Supporting the annual budget and quarterly forecasting process, and developing business models as required
• Assisting in preparing the monthly board pack and KPIs
• Ad hoc business analysis

Key tasks to this role involve:

• Commercially minded
• Analytical skill set
• Ideally experience working in retail or dealing with a tangible product
  
  Candidate requirements
• ACA / ACCA / CIMA fully qualified
• Newly qualified (0-3 years PQE)
• Ambitious
• Degree educated
• Excel: pivot tables / vlook ups (macros desirable)
