We have an excellent opportunity for a FP&A Analyst to come in and further the success of the City & Guilds Group by supporting our Group Finance department.
About the Role
An exciting new opportunity has arisen in the Group Finance team. As a Reporting and Planning Analyst, you will be fully responsible for managing and maintaining Hyperion-based processes for month end, reforecasting, budgeting and the 3 year plan cycle.
We want you to be responsible for updating planning system models in Hyperion to help support and align financial reporting, delivering reporting packs to Management Board and Senior Leadership Teams.
Ultimately, you’ll be supporting the Internal Group Reporting Manager and the Head of Financial Planning and Analysis to develop reporting systems and provide detailed revenue and cost analysis.

We need an excellent multi-tasker who is a natural in building rapport with key stakeholders. You will have expert face-to-face and written communication skills. Even though you will be working in an open and friendly team, you will need to be able to work independently, using your own initiative to make decisions whilst prioritising workloads to meet tight deadlines with impeccable accuracy.
Your experience with senior stakeholders will be crucial, being able to support and challenge board members, head of functions and senior managers where appropriate.
You’ll draw upon your expert knowledge of financial systems (ideally SAP and Hyperion) to improve and assist on our processes contributing to major projects in the pipeline such as headcount reporting and planning to maximise automation. Your advanced skills of Microsoft applications will be put to the test on a day-to-day basis especially Excel to complete IF statements, Waterfall Charts etc. depending on the business needs.
Being pro-active, whether that entails interpreting data, generating insights, problem solving or identifying expenditure savings will make you a vital member to the team.
