Finance Business Partner

Finance Business Partner / Business Improvement Lead required for a Joint venture within the Engineering / Facilities Management sector based in Welwyn Garden City.

Whilst reporting into the Head of Commercial Finance and Business improvements and managing a small team you will play a significant role in ensuring that profit is maximised across a-number-of ongoing and recently won contracts.

You will work closely with the various business heads to ensure that Cost benefits and return on investment are maximised by delivering analytical, financial and commercial insight to the Business Units.

Key accountabilities and duties include: Managing and developing a small team, appropriately assigning the team to relevant contracts to ensure profit is maximised and risk is minimised, identifying and executing business performance measures including cost saving and value adding opportunities, acting as finance business partner to a number of stake holders across several locations, developing short, medium and long term strategy the contracts, provision of actuals versus plan and milestone analysis for use in strategy meetings and ad-hoc analysis and project work.

The ideal candidate will have worked in the facilities management or construction sector and will have a working understanding of cost benefit and delivering return on investment. You will have a natural ability to develop strong working relationships with stakeholders across all levels within a commercial organisation.

You will be a qualified accountant or could equally be qualified by experience with relevant commercial exposure.

A level or travel (although not exhaustive) is required to several UK locations
