Finance Manager

The successful Finance Manager will be working for this established international organisation who is very dynamic and forward thinking. There clients include large impressive household names. The Finance Manager will be required to support the business at all levels using strong financial knowledge to support internal teams to run efficient finance functions operating internationally. The Finance Manager will be required to deliver commercially rigorous macro financial information and that provides clear and effective business direction for the senior leadership team.
The Finance Manager will be responsible for

• Leading and managing the Finance team based in the UK and being responsible for managing and centralising the financial deliverables in an international business
• Ensuring financial controls effectively operate across the business
• Ensuring financial data accurate and consistent across reporting systems
• Implementing procedural controls for all transactions across the UK and the U.
• Oversee month end procedures in an accurate timely manner, including performing detailed reviews of the Profit and Loss account and Balance Sheet together with adhoc monthly reports whilst providing insight into any reported variances
• Ensure cash flow is fully controlled and monitored across different currencies and bank accounts
• Ensuring compliance with internal accounting policies and procedures and compliance with all relevant accounting and reporting standards, delivery of ideas for accounting policies and clear and effective reporting
• Working with and managing third party financial adviser's including accountants and auditors
• Year End - Management reporting to produce detailed cost and sales budgets for the following year. Working closely with external auditors for all project and Balance Sheet queries under this remit.

As the successful Finance Manager you are likely to have significant experience in :

• Part Qualified, Finalist level or Qualified in ACA, ACCA or CIMA or the international equivalent.
• Proven track record on complex financial control - this includes strong experience in budget control mechanisms
• Demonstrated experience in international currency management including currency hedging mechanisms.
• Previous experience in an agency style role and a successful track record within a commercially driven, growth environment - minimum 5 years
• Previous experience running project based financials
• Strong Excel skills - preferably pivot tables/macros
• Strong analytical skills
