Finance Manager

Schools Finance Manager with multi site academy trust.

As with many Academy Trusts growth in the number of schools linked is part of the long term plan and this will be based around a strong, robust financial operation.

Your new role
This role reports into the Finance Director ensuring the accounts and management information is relevant, timely and accurate. You will have proven skills in building strong relationships across all levels of staff and senior managers with the ability to convey complex financial information. Key responsibilities will include:

• Production of monthly accounts and include the accurate reporting of income and expenditure, accruals and prepayments.
• Produce the consolidated financial position of the Trust reporting on actuals against the budget and forecast.
• Produce a commentary to explain variances against budget and forecast and Key Performance data.
• Co-ordinate the production of the annual budgeting and strategic planning.
• Supporting with the production of the Annual Report and Accounts

Ideally you will have experience gained from within the education sector however strong relevant experience from all sector areas will be considered.
