Our client is a high growth private equity backed travel services business with an international footprint. Reporting to the CFO key responsibilities will include –
- Devise, plan, manage and deliver the Group’s consolidated monthly and annual reporting processes
- Collate, review, challenge and consolidate the monthly accounts and other reporting from divisions and publish the Board Management Information Pack, incorporating income statement, balance sheet, cash flow, forecast, KPIs and trend analysis
- Analyse and challenge key variances to budget, unusual movements in trends and the correct operation of internal controls, involving close liaison with divisional finance managers
- Manage production of audited year-end accounts to international reporting standards, stay ahead of accounting developments and advise CFO and Board of their implications for the Group
- Develop the external audit relationship, constantly seeking greater efficiencies
- Develop and manage an integrated forecasting and business planning process, comprising an annual budget cycle, a reforecasting process and a longer term business plan; own the forecasting tools and ensure that the projections are maintained in a state of exit-readiness, supported by bottom-up input from the business
- Support the CFO with funding and M&A transactions including due diligence, financial modelling, presentations, legal documentation, etc.
- Develop, implement, review and manage an integrated,” no surprises” cash forecasting and reporting process including monthly/quarterly funds flow forecasts reconciled with weekly cash flow forecasts
- Ensure compliance and forward visibility of banking covenants and other obligations under financing arrangements.
- Oversee Treasury management including FX, hedging, inter-company funding and bank accounts
- Oversee Tax planning and compliance throughout the Group
- Participate in projects to refresh the Group’s financial reporting and control IT systems
- Provide assistance and challenge to the global finance team
You will be a Qualified Accountant with a track record of building robust financial controls, processes and systems. Strong multi company, multi-currency reporting and cashflow consolidation is a pre-requisite. You must have a can-do attitude and be motivated by being part of a growth company.
