Management Accountant

A permanent contract for a Management Accountant for a successful business based in Deeside.

We are working with a fantastic company in Deeside which has seen its turnover triple in size over the last four years. One of the most acclaimed businesses within in its industry, this company has built up a great reputation for over 40 years and prides itself on delivering a first class and quality service to its customers.

Description

This role will report directly into a FD but will also work closely with other site directors, and will cover the following areas:

• Producing monthly management packs
• Preparing annual budgets and forecasts, including variance analysis with commentaries
• Control of the nominal ledger and balance sheet account reconciliations
• Cost and cash control
• Cash flow management and reporting
• VAT returns
• Assist in the preparation of statutory accounts
• Preparing reconciliations and reviewing work by accounts assistants
• Posting accruals and prepayments, reviewing variances, analysing overheads

Profile

This is a great opportunity for a Management Accountant that prefers a hands on and results-focused role. We are also looking for:

• Strong management accounts experience, ideally in a large company / PLC environment
• Part qualified CIMA/ACCA with a desire to progress
• Excellent Excel skills
• IT literate with strong systems knowledge
• Strong communication skills
• Methodical and high attention to detail
