Head of Financial Planning and Analysis

My clients are looking for an experienced FP&A Manager to lead, manage and develop the services of a Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A) team in order that all the Financial Management processes of the business are delivered in accordance with the highest governance and professional standards.

To provide support and advice to ensure that business decisions are made with the benefit of clear and timely financial information and advice.

To manage the day to day activities of the FP&A team of the business, including the preparation of current financial reports and forecasts for future business growth.

The post holder will be a member of the Finance Senior Management Team and will report to the CFO

Key Responsibilities

Finance

* The preparation of regular financial forecasts including 3 year plans
* The monitoring, management and forecast of cash flows
* Engagement with the Society's external auditors, as required
* The management and development of the FP&A team in line with policies, procedures, control environment and values of the Society.
* The preparation of management period accounts and reports
* Effective reporting to the Executive, Energy Senior Management Team, Leadership Team and external bodies on an ad hoc basis as necessary
* The maintenance of a financial control environment in line with the highest professional standards and the needs of the business

The successful candidate will be qualified with proven experience of operating within a similar role at this level
