My client is a FTSE 250 transport and logistics business that is seeking to add a temporary cost efficiencies/rationalisation expert for the period of 6-12 months.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage corporate and divisional costs and budget challenges
- report at a senior level to - CFO/Interim CEO of the business as well as divisional leads
- Analyse each business unit and then develop robust reports to guide the business's streamlining strategy
- In depth understanding of how a blue chip business works
Candidate Requirements:
- A qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA)
- Strong experience in large multinational organisations or complex organisations
- High calibre financial understanding and capability, with a clear commercial awareness
- Excellent interpersonal, communication and influencing skills
- Critically review and interpret information and decide on a course of action
- 7-10 years PQE
- Experience in a multi-billion industry in senior capacity
