Our client is a leading engineering, metals and commodities company located in London's West End, who have grown rapidly both in the UK and Internationally recently. Due to this rapid expansion, their accountancy team require a Group Intercompany Analyst & Accountant.

Description

Located in London's West End, our client is looking for a Group Intercompany Analyst & Accountant with responsibility for the following duties:

• Record, reconcile and analyze intercompany accounting activities including intercompany payment, cash application, and period end close
• Investigate reconciliation differences and manage through to resolution
• Act as point of contact for queries regarding intercompany transactions/balances
• Review journal entries, compile account reconciliations
• Calculate and prepare financial reports/reconciliations, to summarize financial and operating information and reconcile differences
• Assist in the development of communications for the broader organization to improve / resolve issues with the intercompany process.
• Responsible for creation and implementation of end to end intercompany process - including documenting them within the Group standard;
• Responsible for all intercompany reconciliations (balance sheet as well as P & L) monthly, quarterly and annually.

Profile

The ideal candidate must have strong Intercompany experience and will ideally be working as a Group Intercompany Accountant at present. This role will require reconciliations across over 50 entities, so exposure in a large/multi-entity role is essential.

Salary of £45,000
