Robertson Bell Finance are working with a growing Housing Association to recruit an Interim Income Officer. Based in Central London the role joins the team to provide support for a minimum period of 4-6 months with the strong likelihood of extension.
Reporting to the Income Manager, the main responsibilities of the Interim Income Officer are as follows:
*Maximising rental income for the organisation whilst ensuring customer service is adhered to.
*Work with tenants to ensure realistic repayments are negotiated.
*Advise on rent payment alternatives and make necessary referrals to the welfare team.
*Manage complex caseload and initiate the legal process to recover unpaid outstanding debt.
The successful candidate will have previous experience doing a similar role within another Property Group or Housing Association and therefore be able to hit the ground running with minimal assistance. You will have knowledge of the relevant housing legislation and be able to demonstrate experience of reducing debts through monitoring and re-negotiation.
You will be immediately available or on a short notice period in order to be considered for this role. To avoid disappointment, please do not delay in applying as applications will be reviewed daily.
