Associate - Property Fund Finance

Are you a part qualified accountant with strong financial accounting and reporting exposure in Real Estate funds. My client is a well respected investment management firm with an opportunity for a bright individual to join their Property team, based in the City of London.

Key responsibilities of this role include:
* Production of quarterly financial reporting pack for submission to the Group Finance team using the HFM system.
* Preparation of Solvency II regulatory reporting to Group finance and monthly returns for investors.
* Liaison with outsourced property managers to ensure accuracy of accounting data.
* Performing monthly and quarterly review controls over financial data using the Yardi Voyager system.
* Preparation of statutory accounts, under FRS102 for the Limited Partnership, General Partnership and nominee companies.
* Liaison with external auditors.

The ideal applicant will be:
* A part qualified accountant with Real Estate funds and strong financial accounting and reporting experience.
* Excellent technical knowledge of FRS102.
* Strong analytical skills and be able to understand, question and challenge a range of financial data.
* Ability to communicate effectively with a range of internal and external parties.
