Due to their continued expansion, Hays are working in partnership with the business on this new opportunity for an Assistant Management Accountant.

Your new role
The primary function of this role is to assist the regional Management Accountant in the delivery of effective business partnering, finance integration of newly acquired businesses and developing/implementing process improvements. You will be responsible for the delivery of efficient, accurate and timely management accounting, balance sheet reconciliation, and variance analysis. You will produce and review monthly Profit & Loss accounts, identify and post any correcting journals and provide commentary on variances.

What you'll need to succeed
You will be a part-qualified accountant, actively working towards ACCA/CIMA. You will have previous Management Accounting and analytical experience from a commercial background. You will have intermediate Excel skills (V Look Ups/Pivot Tables) and previous Sage or NAV experience would be an advantage. You will have excellent written and oral communication skills, as well as excellent organisational skills
