MANAGEMENT ACCOUNTANT IN LONDON PRACTICE, CREATIVE HIGH NET WORTH INDIVIDUALS AND OMB'S. £40000 - £45000 PA
Your new company
Your new company is an independent, forward-thinking firm of Chartered Accountants, with three partners, based in the heart of Central London. The practice offers innovative and effective financial advice together with the provision of a full range of compliance services primarily to owner-managed businesses, multinationals and high net worth individuals.
Your new role
You will be a Management Accountant and will be responsible for managing the accounting affairs of one of the firms largest clients. The responsibilities of the role would include preparing the cash position, debtors list and all other information required for monthly management meetings; assisting in cash forecasting and budgeting; ensuring the availability of funds for all the payments; general bookkeeping and preparation of VAT returns and preparing the year-end financial statements. The role requires a large amount of client interaction and you will be required to speak to clients on a daily basis in the office and at their premises
What you'll need to succeed
You will have a professional qualification (ACA / ACCA or equivalent) and will have approximately 2-5 years post qualification experience in practice or in industry. You will have experience in supervising and training junior members of staff and will have a good understanding of accountancy software packages and other accounting solutions including Sage 50, Xero and CCH Accounts production (desirable but not essential). You will have a good awareness of technology in general and will be competent using MS Office Word and Excel with meticulous attention to detail. You will have excellent communication skills and will be able to work under pressure with accuracy and focus, demonstrating excellent analytical and research skills and strong organisational and time management skills.
