Financial Controller Crewe 12 month FTC £45,000 - £50,000

Your new company
My client based in Crewe is looking for Financial Controller to join their company for 12 month contract.

Your new role
As a Financial Controller you will be responsible for following duties

• Preparation and review of monthly management accounts
• Balance sheet reconciliations to include accruals, prepayments, fixed asset reporting, bank accounts and inter-company balances.
• Monitoring budgets and providing monthly reporting on results
• Tax submissions to include VAT returns, EC sales, Corporation Tax, P11d and PSA
• Weekly and Monthly cash flow and forecasting
• Assisting with year end statutory accounts
• Assisting with audit process, liaising with external auditors
• Involvement in annual budget and re- forecasting
• Development and implementation of strong financial controls and procedures
• Management of finance team ensuring all tasks are completed accurately and in line with strict deadlines

What you'll need to succeed
You will ideally be CIMA or ACA qualified with minimum 5 years post qualification experience. You will have strong technical accounting skills, advanced knowledge of Excel, and excellent communication skills. You will have experience in managing and mentoring teams and ability to build strong working relationships.
