Your new company is a large, global company operating in the Engineering sector based in Sheffield.
Your new role
This role is a key role as Head of Accounting reporting into the Chief Financial Officer. This role will initially be on an interim basis, with the position going permanent after the initial preliminary interim period.
The position is a key position in driving improvement within the organisation, and the successful candidate will notice a tangible impact on the enhancements that they enact within the organisation.
What you'll need to succeed
The successful candidate will be a strong financial professional, with confidence in their own ability and improvements that they will enact when starting the role.
The successful candidate must:
- Have strong SAP experience, where from the start of the role, you will initiate and drive improvement the effective use of the system
- Have strong Accounts Payable experience, where you will guide and enact improvements throughout the team
- Strong structural accounts background, with confidence in your own ability and the ability to positively influence others
- Strong inter-person and communication skills
