Commercial Finance Manager

A Private Equity owned consultancy in the Science & Technology sector are currently looking to bolster their team with the hire of a dynamic Commercial Finance Manager to support the continued growth the business is experiencing. This position will act as a business partner between the Finance Director and functional stakeholders throughout the rest of the business, providing relevant commercial and financial support to aid decision making.

There’s a large focus on client contracts in this position including review, negotiations and handling legal queries alongside the legal team so relevant experience to this is necessary.

Key responsibilities:

• Full in depth review and analysis of all client contracts including NDAs, RFPs and project agreements.
• Supporting and developing one direct report
• Ability to effectively communicate and partner senior Legal and Financial stakeholders in order to provide solutions to complex contractual and legal issues.
• Tracking revenue across multiple geographies and projects to include in monthly management accounts
• Ensuring all projects/contracts are continually monitored from a commerciality perspective, whilst maintaining effective financial control
• Other ad hoc analysis

This is a role offers brilliant visibility and impact potential across this fast-growth business, with scope to be involved in a PE exit in the medium term. This roles requires someone who is a qualified accountant with relevant and relatable commercial experience.
