A reputable and well-known Manchester based Insurance Business is looking for an Interim Head of Finance. In this role you will provide leadership and direction across finance for the delivery of all business as usual performance management, forecasting and external reporting. In addition, you will be responsible for leading all finance change activity including implementation of a new general ledger. The role will be supported by the Financial Control & Reporting and Financial Planning & Analysis teams and will need to be comfortable working in a matrix environment. The role will be visible at Board level and will be a key contact for the executives across Insurance and into the central finance function to deliver business as usual performance.
You will need to have excellent stakeholder management skills to work with the peers in the Finance leadership team, and to engage with the Executive and their teams in Insurance and to understand the financial and strategic requirements of the business and helping it to understand the costs and implications of delivering to those strategies and budgets
You must have proven leadership experience gained in the finance function of a General Insurance business to be considered for this role.
