Semi-Senior Accountant

A well-established thriving accounting firm is looking for a semi-senior/ senior accounting candidate to join its team. Based in central Birmingham they have a strong client base across sectors, ranging from sole traders, partnerships and limited companies SMEs and OMBs. The larger clients range from approx. £500k to over a million turnover.

With a closely knit practice team, candidates have the opportunity to take on bigger roles at a junior level while still learning and working in an environment working to high accounting processes and standards. Candidates can expect to be working across a range of service lines from accounts, tax (personal/ corporate), bookkeeping, management accounts and VAT/ payroll etc.

Suitable candidates can come from a number of career paths, the most important factor to qualify for the semi-senior or senior accountant position is having practice experience. Candidates can be qualified AAT or PQ ACCA and looking to build on their experience. Candidates might also be qualified by experience and their time of working in an accounting practice. Candidate should have at least 18 months experience working as an accounts assistant, semi senior or sr accountant. You will have knowledge and experience of preparing accounts for a range of clients.
