Sellick Partnership are currently assisting in the recruitment of a Credit Controller position for a market leading organisation based in Northallerton. This position is fixed term for 12 months.

We are looking for an enthusiastic and motivated individual with credit control and sales ledger experience to join a friendly, busy and challenging office.

You will work as part of the credit control team and help internal departments within the business. Minimising the debtor position within Credit Control and to provide support with sales ledger duties and the processing of invoice queries as required.

Key responsibilities:

  • Daily debt collection
  • Setup and maintenance of sales ledger accounts
  • Logging of invoice queries as required
  • Production of customer reminder letters
  • Placing accounts on stop
  • Monitoring of customer trading position to credit limit
  • Credit limit change recommendation
  • Providing support in the processing of customer credit notes as required
  • Daily allocation of Cash, Cheque and BACS receipts, ToddPak, SJB and NYCC ledgers
  • Reconciliation of Self Billing Accounts

Essential Experience:

  • AAT or similar
  • Experience of Sage 200 or similar accounts package
  • Knowledge of the overall function of the Sales and Purchase Ledger
  • Strong IT Skills, specifically MS Office and Sage.
