Finance Business Partner

Finance Business Partner to work with £70M income Social Enterprise in East London. £48k & excellent benefits.

Your new company:
A social enterprise that reinvests all profits into social projects, this organisation has a current income of approximately £70M but it has consistently grown due to successful contract bids and is expected to be at £100M in the next three years. The organisation has a national presence and although they are a charity, they act in a commercial manner. The organisation is based in East London (Zones 1 and 2).

Your new role:
The Finance Business Partner will support the two major areas of spending for the organisation and liaise with a range of senior level stakeholders to provide both strategic and day to day finance support for those areas.

The role will have a broad focus and will include financial analysis, budgeting and forecasting support but will also include more basic tasks such as reconciliations, accruals and journals. It therefore requires someone prepared to provide a 360 degree support service.

• Month end reporting - analysing information, challenging the business and preparing a comprehensive report for management on the performance of the business units.
• Preparation of budget and forecast
• Cash Management
• Implementation of financial controls
• Profit and Loss and Balance sheet reconciliations, prepayments, accruals, fixed asset maintenance.
• Holding forecasting meetings with business heads.

What you'll need to succeed:

• The ideal candidate will be an ambitious fully qualified accountant with the ability to think outside of the box
• Previous experience of budgeting and forecasting / Management accounting
• Strong communicator with the ability to speak to stakeholders at all levels and understanding of finance
• Open minded on sector background
