Credit Controller

Large blue chip business based in the centre of Manchester requires a Credit Controller for their growing business. Reporting to the Credit Manager,the role will initially be on a 12 month fixed term contract.

This position offers an exciting opportunity for a high calibre credit professional to apply credit and collection techniques and best practices ensuring consistent debt management and cash performance.

Duties of this role will include:

•Proactively contact clients / internal contacts for prompt collection or resolution of aged receivables

•Drive cash flow and debtor day targets by strong portfolio management and relationship building

•Dealing with all customer receivable issues, disputes

•Full day to day management of assigned clients

•Chasing debts via the telephone, letter and e mail

•Develop excellent relationships with key contacts 

•Control and manage the statement production process

•Reconciliation of accounts

•Work as part of a team to ensure additional credit control tasks are undertaken

•Pro-actively manage customer account balances by working closely with other internal departments

 The right candidate for the role will have:

•Experience in a busy credit control role

•Ability to work under pressure in a fast paced dynamic environment demonstrating success at reducing aged debts

•Successfully manage multiple tasks and priorities

•Strong time management and be a self starter

•Attention to detail and deliver high quality work

•Excellent verbal and written communication and be customer focused

•Proficient in Microsoft Office applications such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint
