Management accountant, supporting the Group Financial Controller in all aspects of accounting and control including preparing the monthly management accounts.

Client Details

Growing services business in North West London. They have doubled in size over the past 4 years and are expecting the same growth in the company 2 years.

Description

  • Accounting entries to the nominal ledger to record sales and cost of sales
  • PNL and balance sheet ownership
  • VAT returns and exemptions quarterly
  • Coaching of 2 direct report
  • Review of other team members journal entries
  • Forecasting though discussions with department heads
  • Cash forecasting and management
  • Producing reconciliations for all balance sheet accounts at month end
  • Ad hoc projects as required

    • Profile

    • A qualified ACA/CIMA accountant
    • Strong VAT experience
    • Energetic, highly motivated self-starter with big ambitions;
    • Demonstrably strong commercial acumen through previous financial / commercial experience
    • Flexible and adaptable to business needs in a fast paced and highly dynamic environment;
    • Excellent communicator, with plenty of social confidence and strong influencing skills;
    • Track record of improving processes within the finance environment;
