Howarth Morris are excited to be recruiting for a well-established and highly regarded business in Wigan. The role is a Management Accountant for a period of 3 months. You will report to the FD and FC with a remit including:

Key Responsibilities

  • Monthly Management Accounts preparation including P&L, Balance Sheet, creditors and debtors
  • Developing the Management Accounts Pack
  • Budgeting and Forecasting
  • Variance Analysis with commentary on performance
  • Providing detailed analysis on costs, sales and margins with breakdown by product, customer etc
  • Business partnering with the winder business
  • Year End accounts
  • Weekly cash flow reporting
  • Intercompany reconciliations
  • Fixed Asset Management
  • Bank Reconciliations

Candidate Requirements

  • QBE or Part Qualified/ Qualified CIMA, ACCA or ACA
  • Previous experience of working for an SME business
  • Possess drive and hunger to add value and impact business performance and growth
  • Dynamic, energetic and passionate about delivering improvement and efficiencies
  • Strong communication skills both written and verbal
  • Excellent presentation skills
  • Strong numerical and IT skills
  • Adaptable to change and commercially driven to seek improvements
