A superb opportunity to join a great finance team at a global reaching IT company has arisen for a driven and motivated Financial Accountant. Reporting to the Financial Director, you will be tasked with controlling the day to day operations of the finance department. Accuracy is key when you completing month end procedures and maintaining the company's general ledger. Some of the key aspects of the job include but are not limited to:

• Review, manage and analyse transactions to provide information for management,
• Forecasting on a 4 and 13 weekly basis,
• Provide additional support for day to day bank transfers,
• Monthly intercompany and bank reconciliations,
• Maintain fixed asset register and post related depreciation and amortisation journals,
• Production of management reports,
• Monthly DSO calculations,
• Assist in the preparation of statutory accounts and liaison with external auditors,
• Involvement in payroll and preparation of VAT returns.

This fantastic company are looking for a candidate holding a recognised accountancy qualification (ACA, ACCA, CIMA). The right candidate will have an extensive accounting background and previous related experience, sound systems experience with proficiency in MS Word and Excel, with experience in Navision accounting software being an advantage.
