The Senior Accountant's main responsibilities will include but not be limited to:
- Manage all costs related to 5-6 development projects
- Preparing monthly cashflows and draws for investor funding for a £250m development and a £122m development
- Review quarterly accounts prepared by 3rd party administrator
- Update project budgets and cashflows based on communications with developers and project managers monthly for investor fundings
- Prepare management accounts for subsidiary company
- Assist the Financial Controller with quarterly Investor and Lender reporting
- Manage the head office budget and payment process and prepare related accounts
- Prepare monthly VAT returns and management accounts for various entities
- Liaise with auditors during interim and year end audit procedures and tax preparers of the corporate tax return
- Assist with set-up of new accounting and costing system
- Contribute to the improvement of processes and help enforce controls
- Any ad-hoc projects to support the Financial Controller and Directors
Requirements for position:
- ACA or ACCA is required
- Highly organized, keen attention to detail, and driven to produce a quality work product
- Excellent problem-solving, project management and communication skills
- Experience in real estate is not required, but a plus
