Management Accountant

Our client is a successful/ market leading organisation with plans to continue to rapidly increase its UK presence. Based in its impressive Head Office near Chester this role is brought about due to an internal promotion and to meet the evolving demands of this highly successful business.

Based within an impressive and dynamic finance team of 50+ accountants and reporting directly into an experienced CIMA Qualified Finance Manager. The successful Management Accountant will possess previous Management Accounting experience and either have at least a 2.1 Finance Degree or be AAT Qualified and be a Part Qualified CIMA /ACCA studier. You will be part of a team which is seen as the next Senior Management Accountants / Finance Managers etc and given all the support, training and progression you need to reach your full potential and Qualify with a company which is known (and won numerous awards for) investing and developing its people.

Responsibilities will include:-
 

• Production of Monthly Management Accounts for a large Group entity including completing the commentary
• Assisting with Cash Flow forecasts
• VAT Returns for consolidation
• To review the Accounts clerks work and reconciliations
• To support the Finance Manager in the development of the team and processes within
• To put forward new ideas and to assist the reputation of the company by implementing changes which improve the finance function
• Ad Hoc duties as is required by the Finance Manager and Senior ManagementTeam.
