Interim Finance Director

Frazer John Recruitment, Finance Practice is currently supporting a retail business in Manchester who are looking to recruit an Interim Finance Director to join the busy team for a period of 6 months with a strong possibility to extend. 

As Interim Finance Director you will sit on the executive board and will partner closely with the Managing Director to deliver on a strategy of EBIT growth and cost reduction to drive critical levels of cash flow. 

Responsibilities include - 

• Working closely with wider executive team, proposing and approving P&L strategies for the business including allocation of CAPEX
• Continuously review financial controls, procedures and systems
• Control the accuracy and integrity of the general ledger and Balance sheets
• Set and manage functional budgets and KPIs, ensuring cost efficiency 
• Risk Management
• Direct a large team of up to 65 with 4 direct reports 
• Support ongoing change projects
• Implement cost reduction initiatives 

This role is suited to an experienced executive level Finance Director with demonstrable experience operating at board level. Applicants must be fully qualified (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent) with exposure to regulated industries being a distinct advantage.
