Cedar requires an experienced Finance Analyst for a large multi-site business that works closely with the public sector, for a 12 month Fixed Term Contract.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone who has commercial experience, and wants to be part of an exciting business.
Key Responsibilities:
*Automate and run Month end deliverables, liaising with the rest of the Retail Finance to gain insightful commentary
*Support the cash reconciliation of the Agent Compensation Provision on a monthly basis and provide insight of this to the Central Finance team, auditors and Government
*Participate in the audit process for ND and other Retail related queries, making sure expectations and responses to the Central Finance team and External Auditors are met
*Assist with gathering information for the Retail Modeller and Costs/Benefits Analyst to provide financial modelling and explain scenarios to inform decisions.
*Populate and update business cases for investment decisions, reconciling inputs and outputs and making recommendations to improve returns on the investment.
*Provide finance support for Retail BAU Business units in terms of tracking Programme benefits and reforecasting
*Identify Risks and Opportunities and highlighting through the appropriate channels
*Provide analytical support for the budgeting and forecasting processes, specifically
-Developing and managing robust templates and models for input of budget submissions for income, staff and non-staff costs
-Prepare phased budget templates and align with weekly product targets and income factors loaded into the forecasting tool
-Upload of budget submissions into the finance systems
-Support preparation of presentation materials for ExCo and Board reviews
-Manage the budget during the year including adjustments and transfers between functions
Key Skills:
·CCAB recognised part qualification desirable (e. ACA, CIMA and ACCA)
·Computer literacy / numeracy with strong Excel, Word and PowerPoint skills
·Commercial acumen

·Good analytical, interpersonal and leadership skills.
·Experience in business plan assessment.
