Financial Controller

My client are a highly successful technology business based in West Berkshire who are now looking to recruit a permanent Financial Controller.

This business have grown organically for several years but have recently been acquired by US technology business which now allows more development expansion over the next 3 - 5 years.

The role will oversee all of finance operations for the business, manage the small finance team and work with the US on developing the reporting structure and delivering this weekly/monthly.

The role will offer a clear opportunity of advancement over the next 3 - 5 years to FD or similar as the company grows and expands further.

The ideal candidate will have worked initially in practice or similar technical role in industry and then made a move into an SME style role where they will have gained broader experience in finance like budgeting, financial reporting.

You must be able to demonstrate solid financial accounting experience (UK/US GAAP, IFRS etc) and have broad finance experience probably gained in a divisional or SME style role. Some US GAAP experience would beneficial but not compulsory.

You will be a qualified accountant and have a degree.
