Reed Accountancy are currently working in partnership with a forward thinking organisation based in West Lothian. This is a varied role with very competitive salary for experienced Accounts Assistant or Bookkeeper in West Lothian.

Working in a small office, you will be fully responsible for all transactional accounting for 3 areas of the business. You will have the opportunity to really make this job your own and work in a close-knit team with a family feel.

You will have the chance to work closely with the sales team, building internal relationships which will allow you to fully understand the company's processes and procedures. The team has a very low staff turnover which speaks volumes in terms of employee satisfaction and it really is a great place to work!

There will be ongoing support but the successful candidate will ultimately be responsible for all accounts. In order to be considered for this role, you must be competent in the use of Sage 50 and be comfortable managing the following processes with little input from senior management:

*Maintaining Sales ledger
*Carrying out credit control
*Processing purchase ledger
*Bank reconciliations
*Managing petty cash and expenses
