Our client, a highly successful global business, is looking to recruit a Finance Business Partner on a 12 month contract. The role will be based in Kent but you will be required to work in the London office 1-2 days a week. Your key responsibilities will include:
- Submission of timely, accurate and commercially focused budget and QF packs
- Work with and challenge the commercial team on business issues and cost assumptions, including demonstrable ROI on all costs incurred
- Review and challenge cost budgets from a granular zero-base
- Prepare and challenge investment/business cases
- Review balance sheet on a monthly basis
- Lead budget holders to deliver regular spend data and report on time and to a high standard
- Ensuring detailed, accurate and timely KPI's are cascaded to key stakeholders / decision makers
- Review balance sheet on a monthly basis
- Review and approve month end flash report highlighting key variances
The successful candidate will use their commercial insight and analytical skills to grow the business and constructively challenge the status quo. You will need to be a Qualified Accountant with excellent technical accounting skills as well as the ability to work independently.
