Finance Business Partner

Leading FMCG business are looking for an experienced business partner to join their high profile commercial team. The primary purpose of this role is to business partner the Marketing Director and team on the strategy and long term plans of the key categories.

Specifically:

• Provide both financial leadership and sound judgement in the formulation of in year deliver of category objectives as well as strategic initiatives to strengthen and grow the business in line with the 5 year strategy.
• Provide financial guidance and insight to the marketing team, bringing a wider strategic and commercial acumen thus helping the team make informed, added value decisions.
• Key member, along with direct reports, of the cross functional Integrated Category Teams. These areworking teams from all functions within the business ensuring delivery of the Innovation pipeline and category strategy
• Own the longer term financial forecast process and output.
• Develop and drive the brand promotional strategies
• Challenge and influence the Marketing teams on brand volume and margin assumptions
• Manage and control the delivery of our NPD financial process in partnership with direct reports and the project managers
• Control the budget for Brand Advertising and Promotional (A&P) spend.
• Provide leadership and development to the direct team and wider finance team

The successful candidate will be qualified CIMA/ACA/ with solid commercial experience within FMCG ideally with strong marketing exposure.
