Group Financial Controller

Your new company
A leading international law firm based in London is looking to hire a Group Financial Controller. This is a leading firm, boasting an excellent reputation and fantastic city based offices.

Your new role
You will be responsible for the leadership and management of the group accounting team, ensuring all financial and tax reporting deadlines are met. You will also be responsible for the maintenance of group reporting policies across the firm. This role has responsibility for 5 direct reports and has oversight of the year-end financial reporting process and global consolidation process. It is a hands on role in which you will be willing to take a practical approach to problems and lead from the front in the day to day running of the group function.

What you'll need to succeed
You will need to be a qualified accountant preferably with a strong technical accountancy background from a practice environment. You will need to have previous experience in a law firm or similar professional services/partner led business. You will need strong technical reporting skills and previous experience of staff management in order to effectively lead the team.
