Financial Accountant

Brewster Pratap are delighted to be recruiting exclusively for a premium and award winning business in Sheffield who due to expansion have a newly created vacancy for a Financial Accountant, ideally this role is suited to a first time mover from chartered practice

The Job

This job will report to the Financial Controller and offers scope to develop your skills in a very friendly organisation and reporting into qualified finance professionals

Preparation of Group financial statements that form a significant part of the annual and interim reports

Preparation of the Group financial statements

Preparation of the statutory accounts for all subsidiaries and joint ventures under FRS101

Assist in the annual audit and other projects

Preparing and reviewing audit schedules

Production of monthly reports and schedules to meet group requirements and deadlines

Ensuring accurate representation of accounts data through completion of reconciliations and maintenance of data quality

Review of balance sheet reconciliations, escalating risks and issues

Preparation of Group VAT returns

The Person

Qualified ACA/ACCA Accountant with a strong technical knowledge who is looking for future career advancement. You will need good interpersonal skills and a committed approach to your work, willing to go the extra mile.
