Heyland Recruitment are working exclusively alongside this growing and successful not for profit organisation as they look to recruit an experienced Credit Controller to join their organisation on an initial 6 month fixed term contract. The successful candidate will be based at their North West Regional office in Leigh and will work autonomously in a Credit Control capacity reporting directly to the Regional Finance Manager.

Key Responsibilities:

  • The successful candidate for this role will be working with the Divisional and Finance team.
  • Work with the relevant teams to reduce the aged debt.
  • Must understand finance processes and be able to work independently.
  • Required to travel to London at times
  • Must have minimum five years’ experience in Billing and credit control
  • Industry experience will be an advantage.

Required Attributes / Experience:

  • Sound knowledge of Sales Ledger, understanding the relationship of activities such as Billing, credit control and cash collection.
  • Ability to assimilate information and to define issues quickly so they can be communicated and rectified.
  • Able to prioritise effectively and manage time to ensure work is completed within deadlines and momentum of debt collection is maintained.
  • Pro-actively seeks solutions to problems, including the need to work constructively with the Billing Analyst, Sales Ledger Manager and Divisional staff to resolve issues.
