Financial Accountant required for a 12 month contract to cover maternity leave. This role is to support the Financial Controller in ensuring that all financial transactions for the entity are recorded on a timely and accurate basis.
Responsibilities:
- Review of the Financial Accountant's work including but not limited to OPEX Accruals, Fixed Assets, VAT/GST & Sales Tax Returns
- Revenue Journals
- Ownership of the Cost of Sales recharge model
- Ownership of the OPEX Recharge model
- Monthly Management Accounts including Commentary of Actuals vs Budget
- Monthly Load of Trial Balance into Cognos for Consolidation
- Department/Cost Centre Reviews
- Balance Sheet Reconciliations
- Preparation of the Annual Statutory Accounts
- Audit support
- Preparation of the Annual Corporate Tax Returns
You will need to be a qualified accountant (ACCA/ACA/CIMA) with excellent excel skills. You have have proven relevant experience.
