£55,000 - £60,000 plus attractive bonus and benefits package

Our client, an International market leader in their chosen field, is looking to source an experienced and high calibre Senior Internal Auditor to join their reputable team. This is an exciting opportunity for someone looking to build on previous experience within a leading organisation.

Key accountabilities include:
*Lead audit assignments involving junior Audit staff
*Perform internal audit reviews in accordance with industry best practice and produce concise and objective reports
*Appraise the Head of Internal Audit & Risk of progress against specific reviews and the plan overall, and advise expeditiously of any potential significant variations to agreed timeframes
*Provide feedback to junior staff in respect of the quality of their work
*Participate in ad-hoc strategically critical work streams and organisational projects
*Support value added services that complement the provision of auditing services
*Provide technical advice to management and staff to promote and enhance functional effectiveness and the general control environment
*Provide guidance, advice and support to the wider Audit Team

The ideal candidate will be a qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA) with a minimum of 3 years' experience within a similar role. You must be both technically sound and an articulate, commercially-aware advocate of effective controls. You will possess a self-motivated work ethic and be eager to learn new skills.
