This is a challenging and broad role that has been created to support the Financial Controller with all aspects of the accounting function. This is an exciting time to join the business as it sees continued growth, both organically and by acquisition, which will provide future opportunities for the successful candidate.
As the Assistant Accountant, you will be responsible for:
- All aspects of purchase and sales ledger
- Credit control
- Balance sheet reconciliations
- Fixed asset management
- Accruals and prepayments
- Accounts to trial balance
The successful candidate will have experience within multi-currency ledgers, be a confident communicator, both written and verbal, and be willing to work flexibly and across the department. You will possess strong IT skills, including accounting software experience and strong Excel. AAT qualified or qualified by experience essential.
