Financial Accountant
Our client is a leading company in the property sector and seeking an experienced Financial Accountant to take charge of the finance department. Reporting straight to the CFO we want someone that is self motivated and enthusiastic in a sole charge role. The candidate must have previous experience in the property sector.
- Quarterly VAT returns
- Year end accounts
- Bank account entries and reconciliations
- Quarterly VAT returns
- Monthly management accounts including accruals, prepayments, fixed assets
- Monitoring accounts of people with mortgages and following up any arrears
- Monthly cash flow
- Assisting with FCA reporting
- Assisting with GDPR compliance
- Annual accounts
- Assisting with monthly reports to JV partners
- Monthly accounting
- Checking finance statements from lenders
- Assisting Development Manager with cost reports and cash flows
- CIS reporting when necessary
- Prepare annual accounts
- Assisting with obtaining development finance for projects
- Identifying owners of companies and any related useful information
- Preparing appraisals for possible new developments
- Updating existing appraisals
- Entering a handful of purchase and sales invoices and bank transactions per month
- Enter purchase invoices
- Sales invoices
- Assisting with Office Move
- Assisting with IT project
- Investigating tax changes
Software used:
- Microsoft office
- Excel is used for a lot of forecasting
- Sage 50 – Moving to Quickbooks in the cloud
