My client is a large public sector authority who is looking to recruit a Commercial Finance Manager to work on a variety of projects in their finance team.
This role will involve working alongside local partnerships and will therefore require a commercial mind and prior commercial experience
Your main responsibilities will be to manage the cash flow and finances of the many live projects and work with cost centre managers and budget holders to ensure that these come in on budget
You should have excellent communication skills and the ability to juggle a lot of workstreams at the same time. You will also be able to work alone and as part of a team and have a flexible approach to work
Prior experience in governance in a large public sector organisation would be advantageous
